Home Delivered Meals

This meal program is open to any Huron County resident who is 60 years and older.  The resident must be homebound and have difficulty preparing their own meal.

Meals are delivered to your door weekdays between 11:30 and 1:00 pm by our friendly staff.  These meals meet the requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Aging and are being provided on a “donation basis”.  Clients are requested to donate to the cost of the service.

Information about the program is available at both of our centers.

Meals On Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a home deliver noon meal service provided within the city limits of Norwalk.

There is no age restriction for this program but clients should have difficulty preparing a meal for themselves.

This is a paid service and participants are asked to pay $3 per meal.

However, lack of ability to pay will not result in loss of service.  For more details about the service, please call the Norwalk Center.

Wakeman Social Luncheon

Wakeman’s monthly lunch is held at St. Mary’s Parish hall the third Wednesday of each month.

Reservations must be made for this meal by calling us by 10 a.m. the second Monday of the month.
